In line with the directive of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on the implementation of Zero Pothole initiative in Ondo State, officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure are currently working across the state on rehabilitation of roads.

In Akure, the state capital, work is ongoing at the following locations:

 2024: RTEAN DECLARES SUPPORT FOR GOV AIYEDATIWA . Members of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) in Ondo State on Wednesday declared their support for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa ahead of the November 16 governorship election in the State.  The endorsement event took place at the state secretariat of the association in Akure, with thousands of drivers from across the 18 local government areas of the State in attendance. In his address, the State Chairman of RTEAN, Comrade Adewale Bolarinwa, stated that members of the association declared their support for Governor Aiyedatiwa without coercion, noting that they have seen the developmental efforts of the Governor and therefore back his continuity in office.  Bolarinwa, who assured the Governor of total commitment to his administration's success in office, appreciated his exemplary leadership and his display of love and support for the association.
